Olivia and the Date VI

Olivia is up at 10:00 am on a Saturday. Not something she’s done voluntarily since she graduated from college. When it happened involuntarily, it was because once she was returning home at 10:00 am (scary story she’ll save for later). She looks at herself in the bathroom mirror and fluffs up her bed head, brushes her teeth, swipes pink lip gloss on, throws on a white tank top, and silk shorts—the perfect mix of casual and cute—and walks down to the farmer’s market. The guy who sells organic veggies is super hot, and Olivia’s going to make him ask for her number.

We stumbled across Oh I See Red, a blog by Malaysian artist Hong Yi, and just had to share some of her work.

The top photo, “You’re My Butter Half” is made of Bovril, butter, and chili. The bottom photo, “Owl-nion!” is, well, made of onions and mint. She’s super talented and funny! We’re sold.

Check out more of her food art here.

Tuesday’s Fashion Trick - How to Wear a Sheath Dress
Sheath Dresses can prove daunting because of their simplicity. Done right, however, you’ll find you want to own as many of these dresses as possible. Think of a Sheath Dress as a canvas for you to play with. You can go as simple or as wild as you like. Just express yourself!
For a casual look, opt for very few accessories, a cross-body bag, and cute sandals.
For a dressy occasion, we highly recommend a chunky necklace and the flashiest heels you can find.
How would you wear your Sheath Dress?

Amanda Uprichard dresses are perfect for graduations, proms, and other festive Spring occasions. Try a long flowy dress in a print that tells of fairy tales and hope, or a dress cut in a beautiful hibiscus hue that falls above the knee. Either way your AU dress will tide you well.
